About The Flying App

The Flying App is a small, community‑first farm in Grandora, Saskatchewan, serving the Saskatoon region with farm‑fresh eggs and year‑round vegetables grown in our indoor facility. In season, we also cultivate a large outdoor garden. We grow good food with care, prioritize local connections, and foster kindness and respect for everyone.

Try our Garden Preview and see your garden come to life before you plant. It’s a simple way to picture your bedding plants right in your own space.

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Browse bedding plants and add your favourites to your reservation
  3. Open your reservation cart on the bedding plants page and click Preview Garden
  4. Upload a photo of your garden space or take one right from your device
  5. Click Generate Preview

It’s a fun and easy way to plan your garden, try different flowers, and feel more confident about your choices before pickup. Give it a try and share your preview with us on the Garden Previews Gallery.

Our Story

Rooted on the edge of Grandora, The Flying App reimagines an existing indoor facility and surrounding land into a year‑round source of fresh, local food. Inspired by the legacy of "Flying Appaloosa", our name celebrates heritage, character, and a sense of place.

What began as a vision has grown into a reliable, 12‑months‑a‑year operation: daily‑gathered eggs and vegetables produced indoors throughout the year, complemented by a large outdoor garden during the regular growing season. We're here to support our neighbours with fresher flavor, fewer miles, and transparent, ethical practices. Our mission is simple: grow good food, support our local community, and make the farm‑to‑table journey honest and joyful.

Indoor Grow Facility

Our state-of-the-art controlled environment allows us to grow premium crops year-round, regardless of the season.

Free-Run Chickens

Happy, healthy hens that roam freely, producing fresh eggs daily for our community.

Beehives

We've established our first bee colonies this year and are building toward our first honey harvest. Our bees are thriving and supporting local pollination, and we're looking forward to sharing wildflower honey with our community next season.
